Hi
all,
Welcome
to the SGXUnited Football Club (“SUFC”) homepage.
In
brief, SUFC is a soccer team formed by SGX staff for SGX staff. The team
started barely a year back when a few avid soccer players met up for a
leisure kickaround after work. Soon after, the players organised and
played the first match in
Jan 05. As the number of matches increased over the months, so did the players turnout.
In
July 05, the SUFC became the official soccer team for SGX. The team
obtained sponsorship from SRC (SGX Sports and Recreation Club) and it
was named SUFC. Together with SRC, SUFC aims to promote healthy
lifestyle and to foster greater interaction between the players.
On
behalf of the team players, I invite you and your family and friends to
join us in our monthly matches, which are held on a Sunday evening.
Presently, apart from SGX staff, we also have a handful of Alumni,
locals, spouses (of female staff), friends and relatives in the team.
We
hope to see you in soccer action soon~
